Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern access to the maneos.io website, the Maneos app and its nutrition, calorie estimation, diary and workout features. Please read them before creating an account or purchasing a subscription.

1. Service provider

The Maneos service is provided by MORARI GLOBAL SRL, with its registered office in sat Tomești, comuna Tomești, Str. Azaleei nr. 5, bl. 30, sc. A, et. 2, ap. 10, Iași County, postal code 707515, Romania, Tax ID (CUI) 52425152, Trade Register no. J2025065989000.

2. Acceptance of the terms and eligibility

By creating an account, ticking the acceptance box or using the service, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity required to enter into the contract. If the law of your country requires the involvement of a legal guardian, you must obtain their consent.

To be able to demonstrate the conclusion of the contract and the version accepted, we may keep the date and time of acceptance, the version of the documents, the account identifier and reasonably necessary technical data, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

3. Definitions

• App means MANEOS, the maneos.io website and related services;
• Company means MORARI GLOBAL SRL;
• User means any eligible person who accesses the service;
• Subscription means paid monthly or annual access to the Premium features;
• AI means the artificial intelligence technologies used for analysis and generation;
• Content means the materials available in the service, including text, images, videos, graphics, software and workout programmes.

4. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential and notify us if you suspect unauthorised access. The account is personal and may not be sold, transferred or shared in a way that allows unauthorised use. We may ask you to verify your email address and may temporarily suspend access to protect the account.

If sign-in with Apple, Google or another provider is available, its use is also subject to that provider's terms. You must notify us without delay at help@maneos.io if your password, device or account has been compromised.

5. Maneos features

Maneos may include food and calorie estimation from photos, a food diary, goals, workout planning, AI-generated recommendations and other tracking features. Features may evolve over time. We will avoid substantially and unjustifiably reducing paid features during a period that has already been paid for.

6. Food scanning and AI limitations

Maneos provides estimates and general wellness information. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment or medical advice, nor is it a substitute for a doctor, dietitian or other qualified professional. Estimates depend on photo quality, ingredients, quantity, recipe and the information provided, and may be wrong.

Do not use Maneos for medical emergencies, managing a medical condition, eating disorders, severe allergies or precisely calculating a dose or medical intervention. Consult a specialist before making significant changes, especially if you are pregnant, a minor, have a medical condition or are undergoing treatment. In an emergency, contact the emergency services.

7. AI-generated workout plans

Maneos may generate personalised programmes based on the information provided by the user and the official videos available in the app. These programmes are for guidance only, do not constitute physiotherapy, medical services or certified personal training, and do not guarantee results. The user must stop exercising if pain, dizziness or discomfort occurs and should consult a specialist if they have injuries, medical conditions or physical limitations.

8. Premium subscription and prices

• Monthly subscription: EUR 7.99 per month.
• Annual subscription: EUR 39.99 per year.

The final price and applicable taxes are displayed before payment. Payment is processed by Stripe. If indicated as recurring, the subscription renews automatically for the same period until you cancel it. The price may be changed for future periods, with the prior notice required by law; any change does not affect a period already paid for.

No free trial period is offered, except for a promotion expressly described before purchase.

Before you confirm payment, the period, total price, recurring nature, date or rule of the next billing and the cancellation method will be displayed. Transaction confirmation and the invoice or receipt will be provided through the applicable payment channel.

9. Activation and restoring access

Premium access is activated after payment is confirmed and is linked to your Maneos account. If you change your device or reinstall the app, sign in to the same account and follow the “Restoring Premium access” page. No new payment is required to restore an active subscription.

10. Cancelling renewal

You can stop renewal from the subscription management page or via the link provided for the Stripe subscription. Cancellation must be made before the next billing date. Normally, cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and does not delete the account. Deleting the app or the account does not automatically cancel payment obligations that have already fallen due.

Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription. After renewal is cancelled, Premium access continues until the end of the period already paid for, unless a refund or a termination justified under the law applies.

11. Right of withdrawal and refunds

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have a legal right of withdrawal within 14 days, under the conditions of the applicable law. If you request immediate access to the digital content or service within this period, we may ask for your express consent to begin performance and your acknowledgement that you understand the legal consequences, including the loss of the right of withdrawal in the cases provided by law.

Except where required by law or expressly described in an offer, amounts relating to a period that has already begun are not automatically refunded. If the digital service is not supplied in conformity with the contract, you are entitled to the mandatory remedies provided by consumer protection law. Requests should be sent to help@maneos.io and must include enough information to identify the transaction.

If the payment was processed by an app store or another merchant of record, where such a channel is available, the request may need to be addressed directly to that provider under its own procedure. Maneos will provide the reasonable information needed to identify the purchase, without guaranteeing the approval of a request handled by a third party.

12. User content

You retain the rights to the photos and information you upload. You grant us, for as long as necessary to provide the service, a non-exclusive, limited and revocable licence to host, technically reproduce, transmit and process the content in order to operate Maneos, including analysis through contracted providers. Do not use content you do not have rights to, and do not upload images of other people without a legal basis.

If you choose to publish or share a recipe, food item or other material in a shared area of the service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence, valid for the duration of publication, to display, technically adapt and distribute that material within Maneos. You can stop future use by deleting the material, subject to copies needed for security and legal obligations.

13. Prohibited use

You may not:

• break the law, infringe the rights of others or violate security rules;
• upload malware, illegal content or non-essential sensitive data of other people;
• attempt to access accounts, systems, code, models or interfaces without authorisation;
• copy, sell, redistribute or exploit the service beyond the permissions granted;
• use abusive automation, reverse engineering or methods that affect the stability of the service.

14. Intellectual property

Maneos, its design, software, texts, graphic elements, databases and trademarks belong to the operator or its licensors. You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the app in accordance with these Terms. You do not acquire any rights to Maneos technology or content, other than your own content.

15. Availability and changes

We aim for stable operation, but there may be interruptions for maintenance, security, updates or external causes. We may change or withdraw free features. For changes that substantially affect the paid digital service, we will comply with the legal requirements regarding notice, valid reason and consumer rights.

Some features may require installing the latest version of the app. Updates may include security fixes, bug fixes, compatibility improvements and new features. We do not guarantee that older versions will work when they are no longer secure or compatible.

16. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously breach these Terms, or in the event of fraud, a security risk or a legal obligation. Where reasonable and permitted, we will give you notice and an opportunity to remedy the situation. Termination does not affect rights and obligations that have already arisen.

17. Liability and no guarantee of results

We do not limit liability that cannot be excluded by law, including consumers' mandatory rights. To the extent permitted, Maneos is not liable for medical, dietary or training decisions made solely on the basis of the estimates, for incorrect data provided by the user, for third-party services or for indirect losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was concluded.

Nothing in these Terms removes our obligation to supply the digital service in conformity with the contract, nor the mandatory remedies granted to consumers under EU and national law.

Maneos does not guarantee weight loss, muscle gain, improved performance, achievement of a physical goal or the absolute accuracy of AI analyses. Results vary and depend on individual factors, including consistency, diet, health status and how exercises are performed.

To the extent permitted by law, the Company's total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount paid by the user for the subscription in the 12 months preceding the event. This limit does not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, injuries for which liability cannot be limited or other situations in which the law prohibits limitation.

18. Data protection

Data processing is described in the Privacy Policy. The Cookie Policy explains the technologies used on the website and in the app.

19. Complaints and dispute resolution

For complaints, write to help@maneos.io. We will try to resolve them within a reasonable time. Consumers may contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) and may use the out-of-court mechanisms available under the law. Any unavailability of a European online dispute resolution platform does not restrict your legal rights.

20. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer in another EU Member State, you also benefit from the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence, and this choice of law does not deprive you of those rights. Disputes will be settled by the competent courts in accordance with the rules applicable to consumers.

21. Changes to the terms

We may update these Terms for legal, technical or security reasons or due to changes to the service. We will communicate significant changes in an appropriate manner and, where required by law, will ask you to accept the new version. The version and date are displayed at the beginning of the document.

23. Final provisions

If any provision is declared void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid. Failure to exercise a right immediately does not constitute a waiver of that right. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy and the information presented before payment, constitute the agreement between the user and the Company regarding the Maneos service and supersede any prior communications on the same subject.
