Cookie Policy

This policy explains the use of cookies and similar technologies on maneos.io and, where applicable, in the Maneos app. It supplements the Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Mobile apps may use similar technologies, such as local storage, session tokens, app identifiers and SDKs. These enable authentication, remembering preferences, security and measuring how the service performs.

2. Categories used

2.1 Strictly necessary

These are required for the website to function and cannot be disabled through the Maneos panel. They may handle authentication, the session, security, payment completion, language preference and remembering your cookie choices.

2.2 Functional

These store additional preferences and personalise your experience. Where they are not strictly necessary, they are enabled only in accordance with your choice.

2.3 Analytics

These help us understand how the service is used and identify errors. If such tools are installed, they will be enabled only after your consent, except for strictly necessary measurement permitted by law.

2.4 Marketing

These may measure campaigns or personalise advertising. Maneos will not enable them before obtaining your consent, if they are ever implemented.

3. Technologies currently declared

• maneos_session – Provider: Maneos. Purpose: maintains authentication and the session. Duration: 30 days.
• maneos_checkout – Provider: Maneos. Purpose: confirms the return from and status of the Stripe process. Duration: 30 minutes.
• NEXT_LOCALE – Provider: Maneos. Purpose: remembers the selected language. Duration: for the duration of the session.
• maneos_consent – Provider: Maneos. Purpose: remembers your cookie choices. Duration: 12 months.
• maneos.onboarding.* – Provider: Maneos. Purpose: stores unsubmitted setup answers locally. Duration: until setup is completed or local data is deleted.

Stripe may set cookies or identifiers on its payment page for payment processing, security and fraud prevention. These technologies are controlled by Stripe and are described in its privacy and cookie documentation.

4. Consent and control

On your first visit, you can accept all non-essential cookies, reject them or customise your choices. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not block core features. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” button. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of prior use.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser and reset the app’s data in your device settings. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent authentication or payment.

5. Updating the list

The list must be updated before any new analytics, advertising, support or tracking tool is installed. An automated scanner does not replace Maneos’s obligation to accurately describe the purpose, provider and duration of each technology.
